KORTEKS Mensucat’s own production takes place at its fully integrated plants in Bursa and Lüleburgaz. The KORTEKS Polyester Yarn Plant located in the Bursa industrial zone has a daily production capacity of 580 tons of polymer, 400 tons of POY, 100 tons of FDY, 350 tons of texturized yarns, and 25 tons of twisted, fancy, and elastic yarns, which makes it the biggest integrated polyester yarn production facility in Turkey. The entire plant was designed so as to work on a “high-count” basis. This output gives KORTEKS a 55% share of total polymer yarn production in Turkey as well as a 50% share of the country’s polymer production, 40% of its POY production, 40% of its texturized yarn production, and 100% of its FDY production.. The plant is located on 145,000 m2 of grounds and has 335,000 m2 of enclosed space.

In 2003, the KORTEKS weaving and knitting plant ranked among the world’s top ten manufacturers from the standpoint of production capacity, producing 117 million m2 of goods with the knitting division turning out 63 million m2 of Jacquard lace and the weaving division 54 million m2 of varieties of voile. The company’s facilities are located in the Bursa industrial zone and have 62,792 m2 of fully climate-controlled enclosed working space. The features that distinguish this plant from all its worldwide competitors are its ability to manufacture fabrics to production standards whose margin of error (0.75-1.0%) is less than half the acceptable standard in Europe while also achieving perfect quality from the standpoints of density, homogeneity, and durability in weaving.

The KORTEKS Curtain Factory, which is owned by KORTEKS Mensucat and is a pioneering leader of its sector in Turkey, has 60,000 m2 of enclosed space and 80,000 m2 of grounds located in Lüleburgaz west of Ýstanbul.. This factory has three main units: embroidering, finishing, and cut &sew. The latest embroidering technology is employed in working weaves, knits, and interfacing. This unit has the capacity to turn out 4.4 million meters of embroidered curtains, 5.16 million meters of guipure curtains, and 840,000 meters of guipure appliqué curtains a year. In addition to these three types of curtains, the unit also produces lace for garment and upholstery applications as well. The finishing unit puts embroidered, plain and Jacquard woven, and double-rib tulle fabrics through such processes as washing, fixing, dyeing, edging, crushing, pleating, and printing in line with the customer’s wishes. The finishing unit has the capacity to process 65 million meters of manufactured fabric a year. After leaving the finishing unit, goods pass to the cut &sew unit where they are cut, sewn, ironed, and packaged in accordance with customer wishes. This unit has an annual handling capacity of 4 million pieces a year.
