KORTEKS' NEW FACİLİTY TO PRODUCE POLYESTER YARN FROM PET BOTTLE HAS BEEN OPENED!
As KORTEKS, we have finally completed one of our most important sustainability-oriented investments with our new generation textile approach focused on innovation based on circular economy.
We're proud to share the information with you that our investment of Polymer Recycling Plant, which is a first in Turkey, has been completed and started production.
We wholeheartedly believe that this important investment, which we believe that it will make you all more hopeful for a better future, will be a good example for the construction of a sustainable life in our industry, in our country and in the world.
In our facility with a monthly production capacity of 600 tons in a total closed area of 17.000m², we will produce RPET Chips, which is the raw material of recycled polyester yarn, from PET bottles and yarn wastes and transform them to polyester filament yarn.
Thus, we will take a step towards reducing the environmental impact created by plastic waste while using our resources efficiently.
