POLYMER RECYCLING PLANT
As KORTEKS, our Polymer Recycling Facility, which we launched in 2021 in line with our new generation textile approach based on circular economy-driven innovation, continues to strengthen our sustainable production goals.
With this facility, which is a pioneer in its field in Europe and Turkey, we convert polyester waste from our own production processes back into raw material to produce RPET chips. These chips are used in the production of high-quality filament polyester yarn at our Korteks factory, creating a closed loop.
Operating on a total enclosed area of 17,000 m² with a monthly production capacity of 600 tons, our facility supports the efficient use of resources while also making a significant contribution to reducing environmental impact. By recovering production waste, we contribute to our sustainability goals and create an exemplary circular economy model for our industry.
